What should I do, join the air national guard now or wait 3 months to reenlist in active duty AF?

I am prior service air force, separated 3 years back and now I want desperately back in. I should've never left in the first place but I did, idiot I know. I have the chance to join the air national guard as an intel troop BUT I want to become active duty which there is a very small window to enlist as prior service and that is if they are taking priors this coming fiscal year. Serious opinions please!
