How long does Super saver shipping from amazon take for you?

a while ago a purchased a CD from amazon, it took a week and a half for me to get it. i also got a drum pedal off amazon. both using the super save choice. but the pedal took almost 3 weeks. it is just kind of random depending on if they have a big number of orders.
