Male betta and guppy question?!?

Ok my male betta is swimming back and forth in the tank' and my guppies are spending most of their day huddled in a corner on the top of the tank! Is their something wrong with the water or are they just getting used to it still cuz I set it up about April 24th.?! Or is there something else wrong
