Very weird wireless problems?

For about two years my linksys wireless-g gaming adapter worked fine. I always used it for my xbox360, and it never dropped unless the power went out, or the internet went down. Just a few days ago it stopped working all of a sudden and can not find my linksys router, or if it does find one it is the neighbors. The only way for me to get wireless now is to huddle everything around the router, and that is not going to work out so swell. Any ideas on what i should do?
